truly explore what they are passionate about. Here are some tips that can help:
1. Name the List
Bucket lists come in different forms. You can list down career goals,
learning goals, places to visit, things to do, people to connect with, etc.
People can create multiple bucket lists for different goals or experiences.
Giving the list a name can help keep things organized and even motivate you to
make time for those goals.
2. Choose a Specific Number
A long, continuously running bucket list won't help anyone. It will
only be more difficult to check things off the list. Limit your first bucket
list to just five to 10 items and work on checking them off before creating a new
list. You can also replace the goal you checked off with a new one if needed.
That will be an additional motivating factor and help you get through all
goals.
3. Include Short-Term Goals
Make sure your list includes some short-term and easy goals. If you
have sky-diving on the bucket list, include something as simple as watching an
old movie with your best friend on the list too. Simple goals are easier to
tick off, which means they offer a sense of accomplishment as well. Starting
small will also help you accomplish everything on the list by providing more
motivation.
